Text Box: Background Information: : I currently live in Elburn, Illinois with my wife, Kathy, and my 5 year old son, Chase. Kathy and I have our own construction/remodeling business. Due to the economy and my major sponsor going chapter 11 I was not able to race in 2010. I myself have been racing since very young – including ATV’s and motorcycles. I have raced Beta & KTM’s two & four strokes provided by TUF Powersports (DeKalb, Il). My race plan for 2011 is to race local AMA events in Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Michigan and Wisconsin and also some National Enduros. I currently race AA or Vet A class in local districts and Vet A class (4 stroke or Open) in Nationals. My main focus is Enduro racing. Prior accomplishments: I have represented the USA team for the ISDE in 1994-Tulsa, 1997-Italy and 2000-Spain. I earned a silver medal in 1994, 2000 and was injured in 1997 on day 3. I have won AMA National Enduro Championships in 1994 and 2000. I have placed in top five in Enduros many times in Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin, Indiana & Michigan. I have also been in top 20 overall at National Enduros. I raced the “Last Man Standing” event in Texas (invite only) in November of 2005. I finished in top 30 overall. I raced the BAJA 1000 in 2007 on the Illinois BAJA Race team and finished 6th place PRO-30 Class Nbr 306-X. First Illinois team in history of BAJA to finish.
